Category Tags
CATEGORY TAGS SHOULD BE ADDED TO VETSPIRE BEFORE DOWNLOADING THE FILE.
Add Category Tags
Tags on products are called Categories on the import file. You can add them by:
Navigate to
Financials.Scroll down and select Categories from the left-hand side menu.
Click Add Product Category in the top right corner.
Enter the Category Name in the Name field.
Add specific location tags so that all items in that category are taxed at the listed locations.
Set Location Tags for Pricing
Tag pricing allows you to enter and update pricing once and then apply it to multiple locations using a tag. This is convenient if you have multiple locations using the same pricing.
Navigate to
More > Admin > Location Tags.Scroll down to select Add Location Tag in the top right corner.
Add the name of the tag to the Name field.

THESE STEPS DO NOT NEED TO BE COMPLETED BEFORE EXPORTING THE FILE.
Navigate to
More > Admin > LocationsSearch for and select a location.
Click Edit in the top right corner of the Basic Info section.
Scroll down to the Tags box. Add any tag for the location.
Use CSV for Tag Upload
WARNING: Working with CSV files can be very frustrating. Some important key points:
Never remove any columns.
Never rename any columns.
Do not add any rows above the row with the column names (title row).
Any row may be removed except for the title row.
Do not change ID column values.
Always start each import with a fresh file. Do not reuse the old version.
The system must have at least one code to download the file.
