Add a New Product
This is a permissions-based feature or is managed from the Admin page.Navigate to More > Inventory & Services > Products.
THERE IS A 255 CHARACTER LIMIT TO ANY TEXT FIELD.
To enable or disable a product for the Location, click the ellipses and select Enable or Disable Product.
To add a new product, select +New Product.
Select Edit Details from the upper right-hand corner to complete the necessary fields to build the product. The following metadata are created by the Vetspire system and cannot be edited.
ID - this is used for Cubex or for API report generation

Basic Information
BEST PRACTICE: COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING FIELDS.
Enter a Name to display for searching.
The product Type will default to the last product type in the list. Change this if necessary.
Code is related to the entire organization.
Tags
The Manufacturer is important for vaccines.
