Lab Order Results
All lab order results may be emailed except radiology. If there is an rDVM associated with the lab order, the results will also be emailed to the rDVM. Navigate to the desired Patient and select the Labs tab.
Labs with abnormal results are shown in red.
Click on a lab from the Pending Lab Orders section to expand the results, show the ordering provider, associate the lab with an encounter, review, and comment.
The Email Lab Result button generates a pop-out text box to compose an email and attaches the lab results to the desired recipient.
THE Order Lab BUTTON ON THIS SCREEN DOES NOT AUTOMATICALLY ASSOCIATE TO AN ENCOUNTER.
ASSOCIATE THE LAB WITH AN ENCOUNTER TO GENERATE A REFERENCE LAB FORM.
IF ORDERED BY MISTAKE, CANCEL THE ORDER. VIEW A LIST OF THE CANCELLED LABS.
