Set Multiple Tax Fields

Navigate to More > Admin > Locations and select the location. 

1. Set the area's tax rate(s) using the tax fields provided in the Basic Info section.  If your area does not apply one or more of the specific tax fields, leave that field blank.

   • State Tax Rate

   • County Tax Rate

   • City Tax Rate

   • Other Tax Rate

     

A hierarchy system exists to pull from product settings first.  If nothing is set under product settings, it will look to the product category, then the product type.

BEST PRACTICE: SET THE TAX RATE AT THE PRODUCT LEVEL.

VETSPIRE WILL APPLY THE PRODUCT LEVEL TAX RATES ABOVE ALL. IF THERE IS NO RATE APPLIED AT THE PRODUCT LEVEL, VETSPIRE WILL APPLY PRODUCTCATEGORY RATES. IF THERE IS NO RATE APPLIED AT THE CATEGORY LEVEL, VETSPIRE WILL DEFER TO THE PRODUCT TYPE.
