VitalPACS Order

Place a VitalPACS Order - Patient in Hospital/Clinic

1. To send the modality request to the machine and add it to the invoice, navigate to Orders in the associated encounter and select +Order Lab.

2. In the Order Lab screen, choose VitalPACS for the Lab.

3. For Radiology, select Digital Radiography (DX). THIS FIELD IS DEPENDENT ON THE MODALITIES AVAILABLE TO THE HOSPITAL/CLINIC.

4. Select the desired Tests and the correct Provider.

5. Select Order Lab and find the newly ordered lab under Orders.

   

The modality order is now visible in the VitalPACS Work Queue.

Complete a VitalPACS Study

1. Select and complete the SCHEDULED study on the appropriate modality.

2. Find the completed study in the hospital/clinic instance of VitalPACS.

Status available: SCHEDULED, IN_PROGRESS, COMPLETED, DISCONTINUED in VitalPACS

Delete an Erroneous VitalPACS Order

1. Click the trashcan to the far right of the test if an order was entered in error. This action does not remove the charge from the invoice.

2. Navigate to the invoice to remove the charge.
