NOVASheet Types

The name NOVA means "new," stemming from the Latin word novus. NOVA is the new way of using whiteboards and treatment sheets for our hospitals. The NOVA Sheet is an intuitive treatment sheet and billing linked to the patient chart under one platform.

To set up your NOVASheet, navigate to More > Admin and find NOVASheet Types under Configure on the left-hand side of the screen.

To use the NOVASheet with the patient chart, navigate to the NOVA tab on the home screen.

NOVASheets are in beta for select locations. Consult with your account manager for more information.

1. Confirm NOVA is on the dashboard.

   

2. Check in the patient and open the encounter.

3. Create a note referencing a NOVA Treatment Sheet in the Plan section of the encounter.

4. Leave the encounter, navigate to the patient medical chart, select New, and choose a NOVASheet Template.

   

    

NOTE: ENCOUNTERS AND NOVA TREATMENT SHEETS DO NOT INTERACT AT THIS TIME. DEVELOPMENT FOR THAT FEATURE IS SCHEDULED FOR STAGE 2 TO BEGIN IN SEPTEMBER.
