Record a NOVASheet Treatment
Each treatment in a NOVASheet displays in the hourly columns at its configured frequency. To record a treatment:

Select the cell for the time slot you want to edit.

Enter the value for the treatment.

Select Save.
The system displays the name of the user who recorded the treatment and the date and time of the recording.
Update Treatment Details in NOVASheet
Within a NOVASheet, you can stop, skip, and make other changes to treatment tasks based on the patient’s needs.

Highlight a cell in a different color.

Add a comment: Comments are visible until the NOVASheet is signed.

Skip a treatment.

Stop a treatment: Select Stop to remove all future ‘Due’ instances of a treatment. Only currently due and future treatments can be stopped.
Select Restart to resume the treatment. The restarted treatment time defaults to the time the NOVASheet was created.
Add or Edit a NOVASheet Treatment
Select the Search treatment to add drop-down menu at the top of the NOVASheet to add a new treatment, or select an existing treatment on the NOVASheet to edit it. Learn more about configuring a treatment on a NOVASheet.
The Search treatment to add drop-down menu displays all products active for your location.
A treatment must be linked to a product from your Vetspire Inventory & Services to be billable and display on the client’s invoice.
Each NOVASheet comes with a preconfigured set of Task and Vital treatments that can be added. This helps you track common tasks and vital signs during a patient’s stay, such as Food and Water or Heart Rate. The preconfigured treatments are non-billable by default.
Can I create a custom treatment on a NOVASheet?
Yes! In the Search treatment to add field, type the name of the treatment. Scroll to the end of the search results and select the relevant category button for the treatment: Medication, Treatment, or Diagnostic.
The treatment then displays on the NOVASheet. Select the treatment name to open the Configure Treatment window and edit the details, including the category type, as needed.
How do I discontinue a treatment?
Select the treatment name on the NOVASheet to open the Configure Treatment window, then select the Discontinue button. The discontinued treatment is then grayed out on the NOVASheet.
