Vitals Monitoring

Vitals Monitoring may be found during anesthesia, spay, or dental encounters. Vital monitoring is customized for each organization. Your Vitals Monitoring section may appear different than the samples below.

Surgical Monitoring

Record detailed monitoring of sedated or anesthetized patients here.

  1. Select Start Surgery to start the surgical timer.

    • At five-minute intervals, the next column will highlight and emits an audible notification for the next reading.

  2. Click Stop to halt the timer.

  3. Once you get close to the 1-hour mark, more times will appear. Select the next row or hit ENTER on the keyboard to move to the next row.

    • Click into the first row of a new column to move onto that column

  4. Values are entered to generate a trend graph.

THE TIMER MAY NOT BE STOPPED AND STARTED AGAIN.

ONCE THE TIMER IS STOPPED, IT MAY NOT BE RE-STARTED WITHOUT CLEARING THE TIMES BY SELECTING CLEAR.
