FAQ: What happens when a client replies "STOP" to an automated text message?
Vetspire can send appointment, immunization, and protocol reminders through email and text message (SMS).
When a client replies “STOP” to an automated text message, the telecom carrier unsubscribes the client’s phone number from receiving any text messages from the sender. Clients may still receive email and phone call reminders.
The client can receive text message reminders again by sending “START” or “UNSTOP” to your system’s phone number.
If the client continues to have issues receiving text messages, confirm their phone number in their Vetspire client profile. You may also suggest that the client verify with their telecom carrier that the messages are not being filtered as spam.
