Troubleshooting Diagnostic Results in Wrong Patient Profile
When diagnostic results populate in the incorrect patient profile:
Review the diagnostic order details and confirm if the results were manually uploaded or automatically sent through an integration (such as IDEXX or Antech).
Locate the correct patient’s chart and confirm that the same results are not in their medical record.
If the diagnostic result was manually uploaded: Upload the result to the correct patient’s chart, then delete the result from the incorrect patient’s chart.
If the diagnostic result was automatically added through integration: Correct the patient’s information in your practice’s account on the lab’s website, then contact the lab and ask them to queue the results to send to Vetspire. Once you have received the results in Vetspire, you can delete the results from the incorrect patient’s chart.

If this issue occurs repeatedly, verify that your integration is configured correctly in More > Admin > Integrations > Labs.
If this issue occurs with the same patients, verify that the patient does not have duplicate profiles.
The Lab > Lab Result > Delete permission must be enabled for your assigned user role to be able to delete diagnostic results from Patient Chart.
